Latch Hook Kits

Latch hooking is the craft of tying short horizontal strands of yarn over a small/medium canvas grid using a latch hook. A form of rug making to make colourful patterns over a flat woven fabric. Additional hooks and yarn are available via yarn lane.

The history of the latch hook dates as far back as early 20th century. Vikings would make woolen latch hook rugs, considered to be a luxury item. The same technique progressively made its way throughout the middle east, where patterned latch hook rugs would be used to furnish homes.
