It’s a beautiful block which you could also use for the front of a cushion or bag or the centre of a wall hanging instead. FPP is a wonderful patchwork technique where designs are made from several smaller pieces, sewn one on top of the next to gradually build a bigger design. The beauty of it is that you can achieve really accurate and perfect results as you sew along lines drawn onto paper with the fabric beneath then remove the paper when you’ve finished.  Just follow these simple steps to get you started.
