Create ‘Little Village Big Wood’ featuring an appliquéd quaint country village nestled within a forest of oak and pine trees with this lovely kit. The borders of this striking quilt are created with a layer cake - a big advantage of using a precut pack is that the fabrics are from the same collection and designed to work together, so the overall look of your quilt will be coherent.

This limited edition quilt kit uses Janet Clare’s ‘Bon Voyage’ Moda fabrics. The kit is packaged in a cotton Janet Clare tote bag and includes:

· One ‘Bon Voyage’ Layer Cake containing 42 pieces of fabric each 10” square

· Beautiful coordinating cream and blue texture fabric from the ‘Bon Voyage’ range for the appliqué, background and quilt binding. Moda fabric is 100% cotton, a lovely medium weight, and beautiful to sew with

· 1m fusible web for the appliqué

· A full colour quilt pattern which explains how to make and fix your appliqué, construct the borders, piece the quilt top and includes notes on adding the quilt backing, wadding, layering up and binding.

The quilt is constructed using traditional techniques, so some patchwork experience will make this project easier, but the techniques are simple to learn, making it suitable for all experience levels. With a detailed layout diagram showing the exact arrangement of Janet’s fabrics you can confidently re-create Janet’s design.

Finished quilt measures 54 ½” x 54 ½”.

Backing fabric and wadding are NOT included
