The idea to create this lovely cushion originated from the Fleur Appliqué Quilt Pattern.

This beautiful tulip appliqué cushion was designed after seeing the eye-catching rainbow of tulips in Kerrie's garden along with the myriad of bees popping by to say hello. The front panel features two rows of 1.5” x 1.5” patchwork and a single appliqué tulip. This is a wonderful project for beginners as well as the more experienced sewists. For this project we have used patchwork, appliqué and a little hand sewing too. To finish the cushion we have used an envelope back. In addition to the full colour A5 pattern booklet and templates on the first page of the pattern.

Your Kit includes:

·  Fabric 1 - White on white print for the front of the cushion 10” x 44"

·  Fabric 2 - Pink for petals, small squares (pink in diagram) 5” x 22”

·   Fabric 3 - Light pink on the cushion/yellow on the diagram 4” x 10”

·   Fabric 4 - Green on the cushion/diagram 2” x 19”

·   Fabric 5 - Back of panel - White poly cotton or cotton - 18”x 18”

·   Fabric 6 - Envelope backs - 34” X 11”

·   Batting - 18" x 18"

·   Lightweight fusible interfacing –

·   Yellow for the Bee - 1.5" x 1.5"

·   Black for the Bee - 1" x 1"

·  You will also need a little black embroidery skin for the bee.
