Another brilliant book from Stuart, not just quilts but other projects too and gorgeous designs throughout. As well as the sewing and brilliant photography I was moved by the dedication Stuart wrote to his Dad at the front of the book, what a lovely thing to do.

Found this book to be of excellent quality, very informative and loved the projects. Will start doing some projects in the new year. Too busy at the moment

Lots of lovely quilts, some to make soon with fabrics from my stash others I may have to think about longer. Not bought a quilting book for ages been relying on magazines but finding projects in magazines rather repetitive. Lovely to see fresh ideas.

Quilts from the Country by Stuart Hillard is a most delightful book. I will treasure it and keep referring back to it over the years. I’m not actually a big quilter but this book has been the one to add quilting to my variety of sewing skills. The book was simply packed, thankfully not damaged or wet. Delivery was a little slow, but I’ve begun to expect this now.

Best yet, already made 1 quilt from it

Super book. Not been able to do any quilts as yet but winter is coming so shall sit and sew then.
