Impressions of Japan – Month 10:

Yvonne McAtamney from Village Fabrics has designed this wall hanging in her favourite Japanese Style.

The applique and embroidery are all worked on a variety of cream on cream backgrounds. There are 27 different panels in the body of the  wall-hanging and an asymmetric border that includes hand quilting and applique. There is hand embroidery, Sashiko stitching, folded patchwork and appliqué.

Each month you will receive all the fabrics, full size template sheet, full size layout diagrams and detailed instructions to make part of the project. Month 10 includes all the fabric for the frames and asymmetric borders.
