Design A Quilt Block

Enter our Design a Quilt Block competition for your chance to win £100 credit to your Sewing Street account and see your block exhibited at Festival of Quilts in our finished Design a Block Quilt.

Use the fabric on our bespoke panel to make your very own quilt block. The finished block needs to measure 12.5 x 12.5in. (This includes the finished seam allowance of quarter inch all around so the block will measure 12 x 12 in once joined into the quilt.) You have eight strips and a white square of fabric to use in your block.

12 winners will be chosen. Winners will win £100 to spend at Sewing Street and their block will feature in the Sewing Street quilt.

Rules

Your quilt block can feature any sewing technique such as patchwork, applique, embroidery or a combination of several. The design doesn’t need to be original – just make whatever pleases you!

Details

Please label the back of your block with your name and phone number so we can contact the lucky winners. Unfortunately, we will not be able to return the block to you.

Please send in your block by the Tuesday 11th July 2023 to Sewing Street Design A Quilt Block Gemporia, Unit 2D, Eagle Road, Redditch, Worcestershire, B98 8HF. Winners will be selected Friday 14th July 2023.
