Make this roomy bag which features a flat bottom, over the shoulder straps and is fully lined. Use three different tones of fabric to create the gingham effect on the outside of the bag for a really stylish effect.  The bag is simple to construct by cutting fabric squares of the three different tones then joining them together to create the effect of a gingham woven fabric.

Choose cotton, canvas, denim, or any light - medium weight fabric for your bag. You need three different tones of fabric to create the gingham effect. The medium fabric should be halfway between the dark and light fabric in tone for best results but experiment with different colours and fabrics.

Full instructions are included for making the gingham effect fabric, adding lining, attaching the straps and include optional finishing touches – wadding and quilting the bag to add structure and fitting a magnetic snap closure too

The A4 instructions booklet is full colour with step-by-step photos to make them easy to follow.

Finished size: Height: 15in (38cm), Width (at top): 15in (38cm), Depth: 6in (15cm)
